As Merle was bringing a round of complementary beverages to AsIs and her friends, he "accidentally" tripped, spilling Nomad's mug of Sam Adams all over a certain grey owl.

"Oh, I am most grievously sorry, great lord," simpered Merle, wiping beer off Sindatur with his dirty bar rag. "I didn't see that crack in the floor, what with how I was crying over that uncalled for comment about me being lazy. Insolent, yes, lazy, no."

BoSox win the World Series, and Bambino's curse will finally be broken. Probably Ted Williams telling The Babe to just sit down and shut up for a change.
